Xander Harris owned an apartment in Sunnydale. He leased it in 2000 after being split into two entities by the demon Toth. Anya Jenkins lived also here until their breakup in 2002. The braver half, having been promoted at his job at the construction site, managed to attain the building despite being unable to afford it before.
