Synopsis
Angel travels to Santa Monica to protect Connor from a demon lord whose son Angel killed in the previous issue. Angel, believing the worst of one of his comrades, heads to Beverly Hills, where he reunites with Spike, who has become the lord of the borough, and is living in a large house surrounded by human and demon women. Angel and Spike briefly fight, at which time Illyria appears in Spike's defense (referring to Spike as her "pet" repeatedly). Meanwhile, Gunn has kidnapped Betta George and reveals that he blames Angel for being sired.
