Adam Shankman is a choreographer and actor whose work includes the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode "Once More, with Feeling". He also appears dancing along assistant choreographer Anne Fletcher to "The Parking Ticket" song.
Biography
In addition to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Shankman served as a choreographer as well in Whitney Houston's "I'm Your Baby Tonight", the television series Roundhouse and Friends, and a number of films, such as The Flintstones, Don Juan DeMarco, Addams Family Values, Tank Girl, Casper, Congo, Mrs. Winterbourne, George of the Jungle, Boogie Nights, Anastasia, Scream 2, Antz, She's All That, Forces of Nature, Inspector Gadget, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Mission to Mars, The Wedding Planner, Hairspray, among others.
He was a judge on seasons 3–10 of the television program So You Think You Can Dance. He began his professional career in musical theater, and was a dancer in music videos for Paula Abdul and Janet Jackson. Additionally, he has been credited as director, actor, and producer for a number of series.
He officiated the wedding of his friends Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar. He got the job on Buffy based on Gellar's recommendation to Joss Whedon.[1]
