"25 Years of Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is a short story of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2019) comic book series. It will be published on May 7, 2022 by Boom! Studios.
Synopsis
What better way to celebrate 25 years of Buffy the Vampire Slayer than with a high school yearbook!
This Free Comic Book Day special, in actual yearbook format, is a retrospective of your fan-favorite character moments from the past two decades. Celebrate the Chosen One(s), the Scoobies, and your faves through yearbook photos, vignettes, and plenty of jokes and lighthearted moments from an array of artists and writers.

Production
- The story is to be published under the annual promotional event of Free Comic Book Day. It is the fourth year in which Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics are included, after "In Space No One Can Hear You Slay" (2012), and "No Need to Fear, the Slayer's Here" (2017), and "Frenemies" (2019).
- The cover features a collage of various panels from issues such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1, #2, #3, #6, #10, #13, #17, #21, Angel #6, Faith, among others.
