I actually like Faith more in the "Angel" series. Otherwise, she does behave stuck-up in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Not in a spoiled rich girl way. But in a predatory way as in she overestimates herself by thinking using men will work. Soulless Angelus wouldn't have fallen for her charming tricks. He's literally the devil without a soul.
Willow and Xander could have been better friends in the beginning. But they do get better in season 7 more or less. Xander is still a pain, though.
Hello! The series, of course!
Exhibit A: Spike's comic relief.
Exhibit B: Buffy's badass liners before she stakes vampires
Exhibit C: Those tearjerker moments of mourning Jenny, Joyce, Buffy temporarily, and Tara.
Exhibit D: Joss Whedon did better writing in the series.
Exhibit E: Real-life music guests from The Bronze.
Cordelia behaved like a calculative politician underneath her pretty face, beautiful body, fashion sense, and charisma that dragged on. It impressed me none. What the "Angel" show writers did to her character development was unspeakably shameful.
Willow was transforming into a victim complex rather than taking accountability until it bottled up inside of her so much. Albeit, she improves after that.
Dawn is treated as an additional character without necessary writing to make her truly shine when writers focused on Buffy, Spike, Willow, Xander, and villains instead.
Faith would have had potential if she displayed redemption of her actions towards male characters like Xander and Riley in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Not that I am talking about the "Angel" series regarding her path on redeeming herself.
Tara should have been fleshed out more thoroughly. I felt like she was only there because of Willow vicariously. Not on Tara's own volition.
What episode does the Hellmouth open?
"Graduation Day (Part 2)."
The Master is a bit stuffy. He doesn't inspire much excitement in the room.
The Mayor doesn't hold a candle to what soulless Angelus can do.
Adam was more of a pawn. Not so much of an independent villain.
Glory was kind of pathetic by whining.
The Trio are arrogant dorks who don't have high capacity for succeeding as villains.
Soulless Angelus is the winner here.
They screwed the pooch when Spuffy, Dark Willow, Xander's continuously obnoxious personality, Riley, and Dawn's poorly written character happened. I prefer Angel over Buffy the Vampire Slayer after its third season.
Season 3. It was a masterpiece. Definitely not later seasons since they annoy me. I pretend they don't exist.
I can believe it from how Michelle treated her body prior. Had she never done that, this post would have never seen the light of day. Which makes me feel there was potential in her. If only it had come to pass, though. RIP.
