Hi, I'm new to Buffyverse fandom, and I watched the penultimate episode this week again, what really intrigued me was this Last Guardian story, are these supernatural beings witches or some kind of hunter? Why did I get the impression that if they existed for so long and were immortal, why didn't they hunt down the old ones themselves and destroy them? or would only a Slayer have the strength to do this?
