I’m sorry but HOW DOES SPIKE HAVE 67%. Angel actually cared for Buffy and let’s admit it, angel is WAYYYYY hotter 😂 buffy just used spike as a punching bag and he even tried to R*PE HER. I mean toxic relationships in tv shows are interesting sometimes but in my opinion spike and buffy’s relationship was just a fail. And bruh, she even admitted to not loving him in the last episode, and if yall have watched the first season of Angel, then you know what I’m talking about when I say Angel loved her in that episode when they had to turn back the clock. Overall, yall set me off😂 just my opinion

Just to the response above, imo, spike is waayyyyy hotter.

I prefer Spuffy because it just works in my opinion. Buffy is one of the only people who still treat Spike like a human. And they get eachother, Spike helped and understood what Buffy was going through when she was bought back from the dead. They had meaningful scenes together and both of their humour together is just amazing.

Spike actually did care for Buffy too, and let’s not forget he was good to her even when he didn’t have a soul, which is more than I can say for Angel.

I mean yeah for the most part I don’t actually disagree with the first comment.

But I’ve given my reasons why I think Spike over Angel on other posts further down, this is clearly a popular topic

I mean, i personally think spike and buffy was ultimately more interesting (albeit extremely destructive in a lot of ways), and it would have been fun to see how they related to one another outside of the end of the world. i suspect the real answer is 'they wouldn't', but i'd have liked to see them try all the same!

but I feel that, in part, because it's the closest buffy came to an adult relationship - she's very much still a kid in season 2, and hers and angel's relationship didn't really have the chance to mature past that. it's kind of basic because she's a teenager and angel's really emotionally stunted (and it was being writen for a slightly younger audience), and i don't personally think they'll get past that even if they were to reunite as the adults they are at the ends of their respective shows, because there's too much baggage there. still would have been interesting to see though!

Spuffy is definitely better than Bangel, but instead of pitting Spike and Angel against each other, why don’t we just forget about Buffy, and Spike and Angel get together? And then Buffy gets with Faith and everything is good. #Spangel #Fuffy
