Hold up, how is Angel cradle robbing but Spike isn't?

I don’t know why I feel it more with Angel than Spike.

But the main reason is Buffy was just a high schooler when involved with Angel.

And an adult when with Spike

Just wanted to point out the flaw in saying Angel is a cradle robber, since Spike is also. Doesn't matter where you feel it more, cradle robbing is cradle robbing (like Ezra and Aria from PLL, most fans don't feel that the relationship is wrong, despite the fact for the first 5 and a half seasons of the show it was literally illegal)

Angels physical age is 26, Buffy was 16, that is kind of a huge age difference for a high schooler. If you don’t want to see that as cradle-robbing that’s absolutely fine.

Buffy was a 20 year old adult with Spike, and reaching adulthood is different than being a teen.

I FEEL like Buffy was growing up to fast in a relationship with Angel he’s just old, he never enjoyed going on dates with her or doing any normal stuff high school aged people do.

Spike on the other hand felt less restrictive and Buffy could be less cautious with him IMO (but they were never in a relationship so it doesn’t really matter)

If you wanna compare PLL that made me realise something, similar they both have, both Ezra and Angel secretly knew who Aria and Buffy was and had been watching them, So Yh That makes me think Angel is creepy and given me another downvote on that relationship lol 😆

Buffy definitely loved spike by the end of season 7. She had intense feelings for him by season 6 even but the writers kept doing character assassination on him and she couldn’t trust him enough without the soul. Had they gotten more on screen time post soul they would have developed a beautiful and healthy love. I truly don’t find anything healthy about the Buffy angel dynamic. So gross that he was stalking her when she was 15.

I’m not sure if she did “love” Spike though, she had sexual feelings for him, and cared for him, I just don’t think she loved him, She knew it Spike knew it, But yeah I do agree Spike was way healthier with her.

@Yeahsure19 um she was called when she was 15 bc she said to Riley in that one episode where she told the professor of her one class that she was the slayer, anyway she to Riley that she’s been slaying since she was 15, & also if u look up Buffy & Spike’s relationship on here it shows that @ the both the series & the comics that she picked spike over angel, plus it also expresses that her & angel did hook up or something like that before she goes back to spike, so I’m pretty sure she did love them both.
