I meant the way that Buffy & spike started out u would’ve never know that something would happen between them
Overall I think Spike was better for her, minus the fact he tried to r*pe her Ofc, And minus the fact Buffy never loved him, She was just using him.
I honestly like Riley in S4, it was refreshing to have someone like him, someone who was both literally and mentally their and not too much drama it was just neutral and nice (idc What people think) Sometimes people just want normal ya know. But I also liked that it ended, because sometimes love just fizzles out.
Angel Yh I used to like him but now that I’m older I see that although this was like “total soul mate stuff” Angel was also kind of bland, and he was totally a cradle-robber, Again with them I understand their break up, I feel like Buffy was just missing out on having a life when with him, he’s too boring and old fashioned (Except On Angel he had a personality and was fun) But I just feel in the end Buffy deserves more.
Scott Kinda cute I guess but for reasons she was distant and it felt like one of those relationships you just say “Yh I’ll go out with you” without really thinking about it

Yh But she didn’t mean it, she said it because that’s what Spike wanted to hear, she said to sort of ease himself into death - so to speak
Hold up, how is Angel cradle robbing but Spike isn't?
I don’t know why I feel it more with Angel than Spike.
But the main reason is Buffy was just a high schooler when involved with Angel.
And an adult when with Spike
Just wanted to point out the flaw in saying Angel is a cradle robber, since Spike is also. Doesn't matter where you feel it more, cradle robbing is cradle robbing (like Ezra and Aria from PLL, most fans don't feel that the relationship is wrong, despite the fact for the first 5 and a half seasons of the show it was literally illegal)

Angels physical age is 26, Buffy was 16, that is kind of a huge age difference for a high schooler. If you don’t want to see that as cradle-robbing that’s absolutely fine.
Buffy was a 20 year old adult with Spike, and reaching adulthood is different than being a teen.
I FEEL like Buffy was growing up to fast in a relationship with Angel he’s just old, he never enjoyed going on dates with her or doing any normal stuff high school aged people do.
Spike on the other hand felt less restrictive and Buffy could be less cautious with him IMO (but they were never in a relationship so it doesn’t really matter)

If you wanna compare PLL that made me realise something, similar they both have, both Ezra and Angel secretly knew who Aria and Buffy was and had been watching them, So Yh That makes me think Angel is creepy and given me another downvote on that relationship lol 😆
Buffy definitely loved spike by the end of season 7. She had intense feelings for him by season 6 even but the writers kept doing character assassination on him and she couldn’t trust him enough without the soul. Had they gotten more on screen time post soul they would have developed a beautiful and healthy love. I truly don’t find anything healthy about the Buffy angel dynamic. So gross that he was stalking her when she was 15.
