She was my first fave character, (Season 6 was the first season I watched) then I watched the earlier seasons and really disliked Dawn, so I then I only liked the first 4 seasons.
Then ages after I brought the newer seasons and liked her again.
I never really cared about her. And then I went online and People HATE her for being annoying. I mean I can't disagree that she didn't really have a lot of character development. But then in season 7 (SPOILER?) when she wanted to be a potential and wasn't i felt sad for her. Anyway, my feelings were always neutral.
She did have character development though, she went from whinny, annoying, childish teen in the way. To feeling lost and angry To becoming independent and figuring out things on her the end of season 6, she really grew up and developed and became an important member of the team.
